Jussi Jokinen of the Pittsburgh Penguins came out of nowhere to have a great fantasy week. Yes, there are others who had good week’s as well, Sidney Crosby and P.K. Subban being two of them, but right behind them was Jokinen. I would like to state though that because Jokinen is not a typical top fantasy producer (pre-season ranking of 289) it’s easy to why he is actually the fantasy player of the week. Before October 8th Jokinen had no stats there were relative to fantasy hockey, but since then he has 3 goals, 2 assists, with 4 ppp on 9 shots.
Honestly he’s not going to keep up this pace, but he is going to be a good player for your fantasy team this year as he’s proven he’s capable of scoring over 60 points in season. To make him even more enticing he is getting a chance to play with James Neal and Evgeni Malkin, so go grab him he’s only owned in 33% of fantasy leagues.
